We thought we'd let Newday explain it to you themselves, so this description is from the Newday website:
Newday is a six-day camping event for young people where we get to encounter Jesus together. We spend time worshipping God, listening to teaching from the Bible and praying together in our main meetings, and in our smaller seminars we can choose from a wide range of topics and issues and learn how to apply God’s word to the way we live. We also have the chance to put God’s love into action in the local community, with lots of outreach and social action projects into Norwich and parts of Norfolk, and of course there are loads of opportunities to relax and make new friends in the cafés, through the sports programmes or at the live gigs.
We have been to Newday for the past two years, and are currently planning for this year's event which is set to be at Norfolk Showground. I think we can all say that through going to Newday, our lives have been changed in some way or another. It's a fantastic experience, helping you to get closer to God and each other as a youth group.
